Micah Projects Annual Christmas Hamper Appeal
Kurilpa will again proudly support Micah Projects annual Christmas hamper appeal - please place your donations in the box from Monday the 13th November until Friday 1st December. Donation suggestions - nonperishable food items such as Christmas cakes, mince pies, tinned turkey, tinned ham, long-life custard and milk, pasta and pasta sauces, soups, rice, cereal, tinned veggies, fruit, fish, nuts, tea and coffee etc. We will have a more extensive list up in the foyer near the donation box.

Kurilpa has been invited to have a bake stall at West End State School on Election Day, Saturday 25th November. This will be one of Kurilpa’s fundraising events and we’d love any parent helpers on the day with selling baked goods and operating the coffee machine. The Kindy disco is on this Thursday for our Kindergarten children and their families to celebrate the Kindergarten year! Come along from 5pm – 7pm.

We’ll be holding this year's End of year family and friends party in Lyon’s park (Paradise street) again, so please bring along a plate of food to share and we’ll arrange the book swap and charge $15 per child to your statement and arrange the books through Avid Reader. We’ll be hosting the book exchange in groups from 3pm. We hope to see you all there!

Kurilpa’s last day of attendance will be Friday 22nd of December 2017 and we will reopen on Tuesday 9th of January 2018. This two weeks’ closure period is not charged to families, only holidays taken outside of these hours will be charged. If you are planning on taking holidays around this time of year, please remember to let us know for staffing and catering.

Parent info night for Forest School
Please save the date for Tuesday 6th of February from 6:30pm – 8:00pm as this will be our Parent Night information session for all rooms and introduction to Forest School for 2018. This will be a child free event so that our teachers and educators can focus on working with our parents and guardians on the night.
