Aside from having 9 educators working across the rooms, our team is also supported by 4 floats who have either their Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. These educators cover breaks and programming as well as covering leave days, to maintain consistency and familiarity across the service. The service is also supported and managed by a Director and Assistant Director who are both nominated supervisors.

All team members are encouraged and supported to further develop their skills. Ongoing training is extremely important for professional development and allows team members to network and collaborate with colleagues in the broader community. Staff take part in critical reflection in regards to the program, environment and care.
Each week, the Lead Educators and Kindergarten Teacher are provided with programming time to plan and document the learning experiences developed with the children. Regular team meetings provide the team with the opportunity to discuss current issues, share ideas and goals, evaluate their programs and work at ways to maintain and enhance the high quality of care for the children of Kurilpa.
